Privacy policy

This policy explains what information OpVitals collects, how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to opvitals.guru and the OpVitals application.

Information we collect

• Contact details you send us, such as your name, email, company, phone number and message when you book a diagnostic.
• Account details: your email address, name, role and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
• Accounting data from QuickBooks Online, if you connect your company: your chart of accounts, profit and loss and balance sheet reports, and on request the transactions behind a flagged account.
• Technical information: IP address and basic request logs, used for security and to keep the service running.

How we use it

• To calculate your revenue targets, pace, alerts and diagnostic results.
• To reply to your enquiries and provide support.
• To secure the service, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use your accounting data for advertising.

QuickBooks Online data

You connect QuickBooks Online through Intuit’s own authorization screen, so we never see your QuickBooks password. OpVitals only reads your data; it does not create, change or delete transactions. You can disconnect OpVitals at any time from within QuickBooks Online or by contacting us, and we will delete the accounting data we hold for your company on request.

Cookies

We use one essential, encrypted cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Sharing

We share information only with providers that host and run the service for us, under confidentiality obligations, or when the law requires it.

Security and retention

All traffic is encrypted in transit. We keep account and accounting data while your account is active and delete it within 90 days of a verified deletion request or account closure, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
